Getting To DIT & TCD

The location of the conference in DIT will be in the Bolton Street campus on the Ground Floor. In TCD, the conference will be held in the Hamilton Building.

Plane

Dublin International Airport (DUB) has frequent flights from a wide range of UK, continental European and US destinations with Aer Lingus and Ryanair and with other airlines. The airports website has timetables and live arrival/departure information.

Taxis from the airport to the city centre cost about €15-20 and there are frequent public and private bus services to the city centre every day. All the major car rental companies have desks at the airport.

Train

There are frequent trains from all major cities and towns in Ireland to Dublin every day to Connolly and Heuston Stations. Timetables can be found on Iarnród Éireann's website.

Taxis from these rail stations to DIT and TCD cost about €10 and there are also frequent public buses to the city centre.

Bus

City buses: Dublin Bus operates a public bus service from almost every location in Dublin and some surrounding areas.

By long-distance bus

The Bus Station (Bus Éireann's website) is located beside Connolly station. It is approximately a 20 minute walk to DIT and a 15 minute walk to TCD. Bus Éireann also operates services to and from all major cities and most towns in Ireland.

AirCoach operates an hourly service to and from Dublin, Cork and Belfast airports. The coaches stops at numerous locations enroute.

Taxis from the bus station to DIT and TCD cost about €10. Many city buses also stop near the bus station.
